Tomorrow marks the opening of the winter transfer window in most countries. It is anticipated that this period will bring forth numerous intriguing player transfers, exemplified by the ongoing talks surrounding Kylian Mbappé's move to Real Madrid, although the Frenchman's agreement is expected in January, with the transfer itself occurring after the season's conclusion.

Special attention is drawn to teams facing multiple injuries among their players or grappling with significant absences of key athletes, necessitating temporary replacements. Among them, Real Madrid and Barcelona stand out, while Newcastle United faces significant challenges. Chelsea and Manchester United may seek to strengthen their squads following a dismal start to the season. Napoli might seek new players to catch up with Serie A leaders, and PSG may commence the search for Mbappé's replacement.

Clubs across leagues can still sign players as free agents after the deadline until they are officially attached to any club by Friday, February 2nd.

Deals may be arranged between leagues with different transfer windows. These will be officially concluded if the transfer window remains open in the country where the player is being signed.
