The Sporting Lisbon Academy, one of the most productive in Europe, has revealed an intriguing detail about the club’s U-12 team that has caught fans’ attention.

Details: It turns out that Ricardo Quaresma and Cristiano Ronaldo are currently playing together on the same Sporting youth team.

Twelve-year-old Quaresma is the son of the legendary Portuguese footballer Ricardo Quaresma.

As for Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s just a coincidence—this young player is not related to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Quaresma once played together in Sporting’s academy as well.
