Why Bray Owen Da Gama's team is still in danger!

Magesi FC continue their remarkable home form, securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Stellenbosch FC in the Betway Premiership on Saturday. Thabang Sibanyoni’s second-half strike sealed the win, extending their perfect home streak to five consecutive victories at Seshego Stadium.

Despite climbing to 11th place with 26 points, coach Owen Da Gama remains cautious, refusing to get carried away. "Top eight isn’t even on our minds right now," he admitted. "Our only focus is escaping the relegation zone. Things can change quickly—just two wins for teams below us, and we’re right back in trouble."

With tough fixtures against Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates looming, Da Gama emphasized a game-by-game approach. "We’re not looking too far ahead. Every match is a fight for survival. We’ll keep grinding, one step at a time."
