What is the reason for Gomez's punishment with Zamalek?

The management committee of the African Football Federation announced the decision against Gomez, the coach of Zamalek, and decided to suspend him for two matches with the team and fined him 50 thousand Egyptian pounds for the actions that occurred in the Egyptian match against his team Zamalek on 17/6/2024.

This punishment comes within the framework of the extension of the law and Ethics in Egyptian football and to prevent such actions, the suspension of the registration of the Ismaili club, until the full implementation of the judgment issued by the international sports court (CAS) No. 205/8/618 dated February 21, 2020 in favor of the Stars Club.

Note that the coach left the Zamalek club to go to Saudi Arabia to train the Saudi Al-Fath club.
