Details: The Sun has uncovered details about Coote's life. He is now working as a courier for a delivery service, trying to "live an honest life" near his home in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. At the same time, he considers this job to be temporary. Interestingly, Coote was recognized by a homeowner when he delivered a package to her address.
Quote: “My husband is a Liverpool fan, and he didn’t like what David said. My husband had ordered a car part he’s working on and recognized David. He said, ‘He’s delivering parcels now.’
I thought: ‘Oh my God, is that really him?’ In the end, it’s his own fault. David got himself into this situation. He lives nearby. I often see him around town.”
Reminder: Coote will remain out of football for at least another year, as UEFA has suspended him from their competitions until the summer of 2026.
