What about Liverpool? Dua Lipa supported Arsenal in the match against Real Madrid
The famous pop singer Dua Lipa was spotted in the stands of the Emirates Stadium during the Champions League match between Arsenal and Real Madrid. She was celebrating the victory of the Londoners and looked like a true Gunners fan, which surprised many since she was thought to be a Liverpool supporter.
The singer even received a personalized club jersey with the number one on the back from Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher in 2022. She also admitted to supporting the Reds — for instance, she declared this after the 2018 Champions League final, where Liverpool lost to Real Madrid.
However, the singer has several connections to Arsenal. In 2023, Dua Lipa posted photos on social media wearing a fan scarf of the London club; she also mentioned that her father and brother are Gunners supporters.
It seems that Dua Lipa equally supports both English clubs. Therefore, yesterday she could genuinely celebrate as a full-fledged fan the fact that the London club confidently defeated Real Madrid 3-0, significantly boosting their chances of reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
