One of the major obstacles for Palace’s management in securing Lampard is his current position at Coventry City, a side with a strong chance of securing Premier League promotion next season. So far, Crystal Palace’s board has not made any official offers to Lampard.
Frank Lampard took charge of Coventry City in 2024. He has overseen 64 matches at the helm, recording 35 wins, 12 draws, and 17 defeats. Coventry currently sits atop the EFL Championship table with 58 points and is seen as the frontrunner for Premier League promotion.
Lampard’s current contract with Coventry runs until 2029.
