Black Queens midfielder Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah says Ghana are fully prepared for their opening match against Cape Verde at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Ghana will begin their campaign on Wednesday, with Boye-Hlorkah confident that the team has done the necessary work to be ready for the challenge.
Speaking ahead of their WAFCON 2026 opener, the midfielder believes the Black Queens' previous experience in Morocco has also helped them settle ahead of the tournament.
“We’ve prepared really well. We had a good time here last year, and we’ve come back to do our job.”
The Black Queens will face Cape Verde in their opening WAFCON 2026 fixture, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
