West Ham persists in pursuit of Duran for a third transfer window

West Ham United continues to demonstrate persistence, making yet another attempt to secure their long-term transfer target.

Details: According to Sky Sports, the London club has submitted a fresh bid of £57 million to Aston Villa for forward Jhon Duran. However, just like in the previous two transfer windows, the offer was rejected. Aston Villa values the 21-year-old Colombian at £70 million.

Reminder: West Ham’s interest in Duran has now spanned at least three consecutive transfer windows. The club previously made offers during the winter and summer of 2024. Reports in July suggested that the clubs had reached an agreement, but these claims ultimately proved false.
