West Ham needs a Manchester United and England National team defender
West Ham is targeting Manchester United and England defender Harry Maguire, according to The Sun.
According to the source, West Ham manager David Moyes is a big admirer of the 31-year-old player, and the Hammers will attempt to acquire him for £15 million when the transfer window opens.
Interestingly, the London club previously tried to sign the defender last summer, but the clubs couldn't agree on a price at that time.
Maguire's contract with Manchester United runs until June 2025, which could prompt the club to part ways with the player if a favorable offer arises. In the current campaign, the player has appeared in 23 matches across all competitions and scored two goals.
Earlier reports suggested that Manchester United might sign a midfielder from Juventus for €17 million.
