West Ham United's leader, Tomáš Souček, has extended his contract with the Hammers, as announced on the club's official website.

The new deal will be valid until June 2027. Souček has played 182 matches for the team and scored 30 goals. As a part of West Ham, he achieved success in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Souček is a product of Slavia Prague's youth system. In 2014, he went on loan to Viktoria Žižkov in the Czech Second League to gain playing experience. After the loan spell, Tomáš returned to Slavia. On July 27, 2015, he made his debut in the Synot liga against Viktoria Plzeň, and on August 16, he scored his first goal for Slavia in a match against Vysočina.

On January 29, 2020, Souček joined the English Premier League club West Ham United. In the current Premier League season, West Ham has played 19 matches, currently holding the sixth position in the league table with 33 points.
