The transfer window in the English Premier League will officially open on June 14, but clubs are already actively working on strengthening their squads.

According to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham has reached an agreement to sign 28-year-old central defender Fabrício Bruno from Flamengo. The transfer fee is set at €12 million, with an additional €1.5 million potentially payable in bonuses.

Fabrício Bruno has not previously played in Europe. He has been with Flamengo since 2022 and previously played for Red Bull Bragantino, Cruzeiro, and Chapecoense.

In March, the central defender made his debut for the Brazilian national team and has since earned two caps.

Fabrício Bruno will be the first signing for West Ham under new head coach Julen Lopetegui.
