"We're just getting started" - Francis Ngannou on continuing his career in boxing

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou commented on his future in boxing, as reported by iFL TV.

According to the fighter, he has not finished yet, emphasizing that it is not the end. He stressed that they are just beginning. Regarding the fight against Anthony Joshua, Francis Ngannou stated that it was not his day. He cannot say whether the outcome would have been different, but it was not his day.

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, one of the main boxing events of the year took place on Friday, March 8th. Former heavyweight world champion from Britain, Anthony Joshua, faced off against former UFC heavyweight champion from Cameroon, Francis Ngannou. The fight lasted only two rounds.

In the first round, Ngannou was knocked down. Then, at the beginning of the second round, Joshua knocked the Cameroonian boxer down again, but Ngannou rose to continue the fight. After another knockdown just a few seconds later, the referee stopped the bout.
