"We'll try to make something happen": Amorim remains optimistic ahead of transfer window

As the winter transfer window approaches, Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim faces limited room for manoeuvre, with the club lacking funds for major signings. Despite the challenging circumstances, the Portuguese manager remains optimistic.

Details: Amorim expressed that the club would look to explore possibilities during the transfer window and make the most of any opportunities that arise.

Quote: "We need time to work on the basics—that's the only way forward. When the window opens, we can try to make something happen, and we’ll do our best to do so. In the coming weeks, we’ll have more time for training, and you have to improve—that’s the only way.

We’ve had many matches with little time for training, but now we’ll have more room to grow. The situation is tougher now because we’ve faced many setbacks. The only way out is through hard work," Amorim said.

Reminder: Recently, Manchester United extended the contract of their defender Harry Maguire, securing his stay at the club until 2026.
