The coach of the current world champions Argentina, Lionel Scaloni, answered a question from journalists about whether he would really leave the team.
In an interview with Movistar, the Argentine specialist hinted that for further success, he and his coaching staff need to “stop and think.”
"In every process there comes a point when you need to stop and think. Then we, as a coaching staff, can continue to do what we did before: compete at the highest level. Now we have reached a certain level and nothing has changed since then," - said Scaloni.
Previously, the media had repeatedly written about the coach’s likely departure from the Argentina national team, after which Scaloni himself denied such statements.
