Tottenham began the new Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Leicester.

Spurs' head coach, Ange Postecoglou, expressed his disappointment with the result. According to Postecoglou, the night was frustrating for the team.

"The first half was excellent; we controlled the game but wasted chances in front of goal. The second half was similar. We started well, but after Leicester scored, the crowd lifted, and we lost our composure," the coach stated.

He also mentioned that this issue plagued them last year as well. The team needs to keep working hard and be more ruthless in front of goal. Tottenham occasionally made poor decisions.

"When we dominate like that, we need to be more clinical. We play to score goals, and we didn’t. Dominance is great, but if you don't score, it doesn't matter," Postecoglou added.

To recap, Pedro Porro scored in the 29th minute, but Leicester legend Jamie Vardy equalized in the 58th minute.
