Super Falcons forward Uchenna Kanu is confident Nigeria can successfully defend its Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title, saying the team has everything required to remain Africa's top side.
Kanu, who was included in head coach Justine Madugu's final squad for the 2026 tournament, believes the Super Falcons possess the experience, talent, and winning mentality needed to lift the trophy once again.
Speaking ahead of the competition, the striker expressed her belief in the squad's ability to deliver another successful campaign.
"We have everything it takes to retain our title. This team has the quality, the experience and the mentality to keep winning championships."
The Super Falcons head into WAFCON 2026 as defending champions and will be aiming to extend their record as the most successful team in the tournament's history.
Nigeria begin their campaign in Group C, where they will face Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt in their quest for another continental crown.
