"We didn't see the job through," Erik Ten Hag commented on the match against Twente

Manchester United began their new UEFA Europa League campaign with a shocking 1:1 draw against Twente. Head coach Erik Ten Hag commented on the result.

Details: The Dutch specialist praised Twente for their strong performance and commitment. He also noted that his team continues to improve, emphasizing that any issues are temporary.

Quote: "Today, I have some critical observations. It’s not just the team that needs to look in the mirror; I am part of it too. You know we have certain issues with scoring goals, but we need to kill off games.

We are very ambitious, and when you have ambitions, you need to work hard. Especially today, in the second half, we were too complacent. We didn’t see the job through, and as a team, you must do that," stated Ten Hag.

Reminder: The head coach of the Red Devils, Erik Ten Hag, has dismal statistics in recent European matches.
