"We can do much better": Enzo Maresca on Chelsea's progress

Chelsea has shown significant progress this season compared to the past two. Head coach Enzo Maresca shared his thoughts on the team's development when asked at a press conference.

Details: Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Maresca emphasized the complexity of the task, stating that improving individual players while keeping the team competitive and winning games is a challenging process.

Quote: "It's not easy. That's why I believe our results have exceeded expectations—I thought we would be further behind at this stage of the season. The players have shown themselves well and are making progress, but we can play much better," said Enzo Maresca.

Additionally, during the same press conference, Maresca confirmed that two other players have fully recovered from their injuries and are ready for the next match. However, he also clarified that Aaron Anselmino will not be included in the squad for this game.

By the way, Chelsea maintains an interest in Liam Delap and is open to considering his transfer if the club decides to take further steps in this direction.

Reminder: Chelsea center-back Axel Disasi has been seeing reduced playing time and is also prepared to leave the club this winter.
