“We are serious people”. Conte stays at Napoli after winning the scudetto

Good news for Napoli fans: the team will defend the scudetto with the same coach who led them to victory—Antonio Conte. The manager remains in Naples and has personally commented on the decision.

Details: Conte stated that there is nothing wrong with reviewing a coach’s performance at the end of a season. Now that both sides have agreed to continue their partnership, it’s time to roll up their sleeves and get back to work.

Quote: “Coaches and owners meet at the end of every season to review how things went, to see if they share the same vision for the future and the same determination to achieve certain goals. In my opinion, this is perfectly normal. It happens at every club.

The contract is signed, and since we share the same vision for the club’s development, there’s nothing more to add on this matter. We keep working. We are serious people, so we move forward,” The Athletic quotes Napoli’s head coach.
