"We are fourth in the league!" - Liam Rosenior hits back at Chelsea critics amid crisis rumors
Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has issued a stern statement to critics and the media, who are predicting his imminent dismissal.
Details: Amid recent reports of record financial losses and the sale of key players, talk of a deep systemic crisis refuses to die down around Stamford Bridge. Liam Rosenior decided to set the record straight, pointing to the hard facts and the Premier League standings.
"There’s a lot of noise around the club: people say we’re in crisis, that I’m not up to the job or that I’m talking nonsense. I hear all that noise," said the 41-year-old manager.
Rosenior reminded everyone that since his appointment at the start of 2026, the team’s results speak for themselves.
"If you look at my Premier League record since I joined the club—we are fourth in the league. That’s the reality, but many prefer to ignore it in favor of sensational headlines," the coach stated.
It’s worth noting that since Rosenior took charge, he has overseen nineteen matches for the London club, winning ten, drawing two, and suffering seven defeats.
For the record: The agent of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández responded to the player’s suspension.
