Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney, dismissed from Birmingham City just a month ago, is already poised to return to the coaching helm with another team. According to The Sun, his next destination could be Saudi Arabia, following the lead of his former national team colleague who currently manages Al-Ettifaq and is at the helm of one of the clubs.

Birmingham City, owned by Tom Brady, parted ways with Rooney just thirteen weeks after his appointment. Under his guidance, the Championship team won only two out of fifteen matches played and slid from sixth place to twentieth. Nonetheless, the 38-year-old Englishman maintains a positive outlook and is ready to embrace a new challenge.

A source quoted by The Sun stated that Rooney "feels he has gained a lot of skills that he thinks will stand him in good stead in the future" during his challenging time at Birmingham. It is said that he "would like the opportunity to manage a team in Saudi Arabia."

Rooney and his wife Coleen were recently spotted vacationing in Dubai. Currently enjoying his break, it remains uncertain whether a Saudi Arabian club will extend an offer to the Manchester United legend in the future.
