Wayne Rooney coaching Kyle Walker’s 6-year-old son at football camp in Dubai
Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has quickly found a new role after his recent departure from Plymouth Argyle. The former England striker has joined Football Escapes as an ambassador, taking on the task of coaching young footballers at a special training course in Dubai, The Sun reports.
Rooney was spotted at a children’s football camp held at a five-star resort in Dubai. Among the kids participating in the sessions were his own son, Cass, and Kyle Walker’s child, Rain.
The initiative is also designed as a premium vacation experience, with Rooney’s involvement serving as an incentive for families to book stays at the luxury hotel, where a holiday package for a family of four costs between £7,500 and £8,650.
"From football coaching with a Premier League legend to relaxing in Dubai’s luxurious setting, this Football Escapes holiday strikes the perfect balance of fun, learning, and quality family time," reads the event’s official description.
Rooney will be actively involved in Football Escapes training sessions from February 17 to 21.
