Warren reveals conditions for Usyk-Fury trilogy fight
Frank Warren, the promoter of former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, disclosed the contractual conditions for a potential third fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
Details. According to Warren, the contract specifies that the "Gypsy King" must win the rematch for the option of a third bout between the fighters to be automatically triggered.
Quote. "This trilogy will surpass all other fights because it’s explicitly stated as a clause in the contract. No matter what, the third fight will take place if Tyson wins the second. Provided neither retires from boxing," said the promoter.
Reminder. Earlier this year, Fury lost to Usyk in a bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship, featuring the WBA-Super, WBO, IBF, IBO, The Ring, and WBC titles. This defeat was Fury's first and remains the only loss of his professional career.
The rematch is set to take place on December 21 in Riyadh. Earlier, we compiled all the essential information about the second fight between the British and Ukrainian boxers.
