Shortly after his first fight with Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk lost his status as the undisputed world champion, as he failed to defend his IBF title in time. On February 22, Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker will fight for that title, and renowned promoter Frank Warren has already decided on his favourite for the bout.

Details: Warren believes Dubois will win this fight, but he also cautions not to underestimate Parker, as his character allows him to fight until the very end.

Quote: "I believe in Dubois, which is why we arranged the fight, but with these big guys, anything can happen. They’re heavy hitters. But Parker is no rookie. He’s been there, done that, he was a world champion. Now he’s on the rise. In his fight with Zhilei Zhang, you saw his fighter’s heart. He was knocked down twice in that fight, but still gritted his teeth and stood his ground," Warren said in an interview with Sky Sports.

Reminder: There is a strong likelihood that the winner of this bout will face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed championship. In August 2023, Usyk fought Dubois, and the Brit was defeated by a knockdown in the ninth round.

Earlier, British promoter Eddie Hearn named Parker as his favourite for the fight.
