Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has received an offer to represent the Democratic Republic of the Congo national team, according to The Athletic.

The player has not made a final decision on this matter, but he is considering the option. It's worth noting that if Wan-Bissaka accepts the offer, Manchester United won't be able to count on him during the period from January 13 to February 11, 2024, due to the Africa Cup of Nations.

In October 2015, Wan-Bissaka made his debut for the DR Congo U20 national team. In 2018, he received a call-up to the England U20 national team and made his debut against Poland on March 22. However, he was sent off in that match with two yellow cards.

In September 2018, Wan-Bissaka debuted for the England U21 national team in a match against the Netherlands. In August 2019, he received his first call-up to the senior England national team for matches against Kosovo and Bulgaria but later withdrew from the squad due to a back injury.
