"Waiting for you": David de Gea invites Marcus Rashford to play padel tennis

Fiorentina goalkeeper David de Gea has reached out to his former Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford with an invitation to play padel tennis. The Spanish shot-stopper shared his challenge via an Instagram story.
De Gea posted a photo featuring a padel tennis racket, captioned it with the phrase "Waiting for you," and tagged Marcus Rashford. The English forward quickly responded, writing "Come to Manchester" in reply to David's invitation.

To recap, de Gea and Rashford played together for Manchester United from 2016 to 2023, starting from the moment Marcus was promoted from the youth squad to the first team. De Gea himself had been a Red Devil since 2011, when he moved to England from Atlético Madrid.
Currently, de Gea is playing for Fiorentina, where he made 42 appearances last season. During those matches, he conceded 50 goals and kept 11 clean sheets. Fiorentina finished the campaign in 6th place in Serie A.
