Tottenham edged past Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final with a narrow victory, and this trophy holds special significance for one of the Spurs’ key players.
Details: Winger Son Heung-min has finally captured his first title with the London club, having played for Tottenham since 2015. The South Korean star was visibly emotional as he celebrated his maiden triumph with the English side.
By the way, this is Tottenham’s first European trophy since the 1983/84 season, when they won the UEFA Cup. It’s also the club’s first title since 2008. Overall, the Spurs’ trophy drought lasted 6,296 days.
