WAFU B U20: the semi-final fixtures are now known

Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Niger are the four teams through to the final four of the qualifying tournament for the 2027 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 2026 WAFU B U20 tournament continues in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast. Following the group stage, the competition which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, now moves on to the semi-finals.

The first semi-final promises to be a thrilling clash. Ivory Coast will face Nigeria on 5 August at 2 pm GMT at the Stade Charles Konan Banny. The U20 Elephants finished top of Group A, whilst the Flying Eagles finished second in Group B.

The second semi-final will see Burkina Faso take on Niger at 6 pm GMT at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium. The young Burkinabe side secured top spot in Group B to reach the last four, whilst Niger’s U20s finished second in Group A.
