WAFCON 2026: The Indomitable Lionesses begin the final phase of their preparations in Morocco

Cameroon’s women’s national team held its first training session on Moroccan soil.

The players and coaching staff of the Cameroonian squad have been in Morocco since 15 July 2026. The Cameroonian women’s team is based in Casablanca, where it will play its group stage matches in the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place from 25 July to 16 August.

The day after arriving at their training camp, the Indomitable Lionesses got back to work as they await the start of the tournament. 26 players are present at the camp in Casablanca.

Cameroon are in Group D alongside Mali, Ghana and Cape Verde.
