Senegal's preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) have reportedly been disrupted after the national women's team was forced to leave its training camp hotel in Dakar due to alleged unpaid accommodation bills.

According to reports from journalist Romain Molina, the Lionesses stayed at the Axil Hotel for only two nights before hotel management reportedly asked the delegation to vacate the premises because the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) had allegedly failed to settle the outstanding payment.

The report further claims that the hotel is considering legal action against the federation over unpaid invoices and financial losses from reservations that were reportedly not refunded.
