WAFCON 2026: Morocco Announce Final Squad for Women's Africa Cup of Nations

Hosts Morocco have officially unveiled their final squad for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), with head coach Jorge Vilda selecting a strong group of players for the continental tournament.

The Atlas Lionesses will be aiming to make the most of home advantage when the competition gets underway in Morocco from July 26 to August 16.

Morocco has been drawn in Group A alongside Kenya, Algeria, and Senegal. The hosts will begin their campaign against Kenya on July 26 before taking on Algeria and Senegal in their remaining group-stage matches.
