The Atlas Lionesses and the Indomitable Lionesses have enjoyed a remarkable run since the start of the competition.

The quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations concluded on Sunday 9 August. At the end of this decisive stage, two nations have impressed with their consistency: Morocco and Cameroon, who have yet to lose a single match in the tournament.

In four matches, Morocco, the host nation, has recorded three wins and one draw. In the group stage, the Atlas Lionesses beat Kenya 4–0, defeated Algeria 1–0 and then drew 0–0 with Senegal. The Moroccans then knocked out South Africa in the quarter-finals with a 2–1 victory. The Moroccan side have also impressed with their defensive solidity, conceding just one goal in four matches.

Cameroon have an identical record, with three wins and one draw. The Indomitable Lionesses beat Mali 2–1 and Ghana 1–0, and drew 1–1 with Cape Verde in the group stage. The Indomitable Lionesses beat Nigeria 1–0 in the quarter-finals.

Having conceded just two goals in four matches, Cameroon boast the second-best defence in the tournament.
