WAFCON 2026: Ghana and Malawi’s official line-ups revealed

The Black Queens are set to face Malawi in a few moments’ time at the Al Medina Stadium in Rabat, with a place in the tournament’s last four at stake.

The quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations are drawing to a close this Sunday, 9 August, in Morocco. The final quarter-final will be played this evening at 8 pm GMT.

This decisive match will see Ghana take on Malawi. The Black Queens, who finished second in Group D, will face the tournament newcomers from Malawi, who have been the surprise package of the competition.

Although the Ghanaians can draw on their experience in the competition, they must not underestimate the Malawi side.
