WAFCON 2026: Date Super Falcons Will Open Final Training Camp in Morocco Officially Confirmed
Nigeria's Super Falcons will officially begin the final phase of their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) when they open a training camp in Mohammedia, Morocco, on July 15.
The nine-day camp will serve as the team's final phase of preparation before the tournament gets underway from July 25 to August 16, with the Super Falcons aiming to retain their continental crown. Qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil will also be on the line during the competition.
Head coach Justine Madugu is expected to announce his final 24-player squad before the team departs for Morocco.
The Super Falcons have been drawn in Group C and will begin their campaign against Malawi on July 28 at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. They will then face Zambia on August 1 before wrapping up the group stage against Egypt on August 5 at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
