WAFCON 2026: Algeria and Malawi’s official line-ups revealed

The two teams are set to face off in a few moments’ time at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat for a place in the final.

The Algerian women’s team will take on Malawi at 5 pm GMT in the semi-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which is being held in Morocco. Both sides, having already secured their places at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, are now each aiming to reach the final of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Algeria, who have had an impressive run in the tournament, have what it takes to cause their opponents problems. However, Malawi remain a formidable side. In their first appearance in the tournament, Malawi have caused a sensation by reaching the last four.
