Vinícius posted a photo. Is this a clone or not?
Vinícius has just given conspiracy theorists some fresh material.
Details: A new photo of Vinícius Júnior has appeared on social media, showing the Real Madrid and Brazil star smiling in a dressing room. Normally, there would be nothing particularly unusual about such a picture. Right now, however, practically every new image of the Brazilian is being examined through the lens of the bizarre online theory claiming that the current Vinícius is not the original footballer.
The meme exploded after the 2026 World Cup, when fans began comparing older and newer photos of Vinícius. His changed facial features following a cosmetic procedure, supposed differences in his tattoos and his performances on the pitch were all turned into so-called evidence. The joke quickly evolved into increasingly absurd stories involving a double, a clone and even claims that the real player had disappeared.
There is no credible evidence that Vinícius has been replaced by another person, and the entire story remains an internet conspiracy theory. It is worth noting that Real Madrid officially extended the Brazilian's contract in August 2026, with the new agreement running until June 30, 2032.
