Details: Real Madrid was confident the deal was done and that Vinícius would put pen to paper on a new contract, but the player himself changed his mind and has halted negotiations.
According to El Chiringuito TV, the Brazilian is unhappy with several clauses in the new deal, and his representatives are already trying to iron out the issues with Los Blancos' management.
Reports indicate that talks have not completely collapsed, but Vinícius’s signature is now in doubt. Earlier, it was revealed that the new contract would run until 2030 and was set to make him the highest-paid player at the club.
Last season, Vini played 52 matches and scored 21 goals, cementing himself as a key attacking force.
