Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior showed a heartfelt gesture by congratulating his teammate David Alaba on his birthday. Yesterday, the Austrian defender turned 33. The Brazilian marked the occasion with a special post in his Instagram story.
Vinicius shared a photo with the Austrian and captioned it: “Happy birthday my g!!!! All the best! Enjoy ❤️ @davidalaba”.
It's worth noting that David Alaba has faced significant injury struggles in recent years. The defender missed almost the entire last season due to a series of serious injuries suffered in quick succession. First, he was sidelined by a cruciate ligament tear, followed by a meniscus rupture.
As a result, the Austrian managed to play only 14 matches across all competitions last season, totaling just 599 minutes on the pitch. He did not register any goal contributions during these appearances.
Let us recall that Alaba joined Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer of 2021.
