Vinícius comments on Xabi Alonso’s departure and explains why he did not say goodbye

Xabi Alonso was dismissed from Real Madrid during the course of the season, and Vinícius was asked about the situation and why he did not say farewell to him.

Details: At the pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with Bayern Munich, Vinícius was questioned about Alonso’s departure. The Brazilian responded that, despite featuring in many matches, he received limited playing time and did not build a strong understanding with the coach.

Quote: “It was a difficult period because I was involved in many matches but didn’t get much playing time. Every coach has their own approach, and perhaps we didn’t find common ground,” Vinícius said.

However, the winger added that he has reflected on the situation and has become a better person because of it.

Reminder: Manchester United have emerged as one of the main contenders for Camavinga. The Red Devils’ top management are closely monitoring the situation at the Santiago Bernabéu.
