Today, October 28, the 68th Ballon d'Or ceremony is set to take place, and it is expected that the main award will go to Manchester City midfielder Rodri instead of Vinicius Junior. This news now has additional confirmation.

Details: A blogger from the VibesFoot channel, already inside the Théâtre du Châtelet, noticed a striking detail: the seats originally reserved for the Ballon d'Or 2024 top-three finalists no longer display the names of Real Madrid players Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

Due to the Ballon d'Or going to a non-Real Madrid player, the club’s entire delegation chose not to attend the ceremony.

Reminder: In 2023, Lionel Messi claimed the Ballon d'Or for a record-breaking eighth time.
