Vincent Aboubakar made a strong impression this 28 February in Azerbaijan. The Cameroonian international shone brightly, even though his club, Neftci Baku, collapsed in stoppage time. Vincent Aboubakar distinguished himself with a stunning brace on Shamakhi's pitch. He broke the deadlock in the 60th minute before doubling the lead in the 91st minute to make it 2-1.
However, the Cameroonian and his teammates were unable to hold on to their lead until the final whistle. They were caught up at the very end of the match, with the score ending 2-2. Vincent Aboubakar has scored six goals in 12 appearances since joining the Azerbaijani Premier League.
