Vincent Aboubakar will not be continuing his time with Neftchi PFK
He will have to find a new club
The Azerbaijani club will not be extending the Cameroonian striker’s contract.
Having joined Neftchi PFK in October 2025, Vincent Aboubakar will have to find a new home. His contract expires on 30 June and the Azerbaijani club does not wish to renew it.
Neftchi PFK has decided to let Vincent Aboubakar leave at the end of the season. Despite his attacking performances, which have yielded nine goals and one assist since he joined the Azerbaijan Premier League, the Cameroonian has not received an offer of a contract extension. His spell at Neftchi PFK will have lasted just one season.
The Cameroonian international’s future is therefore likely to lie elsewhere next season.
