Villarreal are interested in a young Ivorian talent

The Spanish club are looking to sign Roma Wilfried Seahet, who plays in the Ivorian professional league.

Roma Wilfried Seahet has attracted attention beyond the Ivorian league and Africa. One of the standout players in the Ivorian Ligue 1 whilst playing for Mouna FC, the 18-year-old midfielder has caught the eye of several European clubs.

Among them is La Liga side Villarreal. The Spanish club is keen to secure the services of the Ivory Coast U20 international. According to reports from Africafoot, the Mouna FC midfielder is said to be close to signing for Villarreal. If the deal goes through, Roma Wilfried Seahet is expected to leave Ivory Coast to join the Spanish side.

However, Villarreal is reportedly not the only club interested in the Mouna FC midfielder. Club Brugge, OH Leuven in Belgium and Auxerre in France are also said to be tracking Roma Wilfried Seahet.

With four goals and three assists last season in the Ivorian Ligue 1 whilst playing for Mouna FC, Roma Wilfried Seahet was one of the standout performers in the Ivorian league. Should he manage to join a club in Europe, he would have reached a significant milestone in his young career.
