Villarreal agrees on loan deal for Inter midfielder Buchanan

Inter’s versatile winger Tajon Buchanan is set to change clubs in the final days of the winter transfer window.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Villarreal has reached an agreement with Inter for Buchanan’s loan, which includes full coverage of the Canadian player’s salary.

The deal reportedly also includes a purchase option for the 25-year-old Canadian international.

Buchanan, who can play on both flanks of midfield, joined Inter last winter but has struggled to make an impact in Italy. This season, he has made seven appearances across all competitions without registering any goal contributions.

To recap: Simone Inzaghi previously confirmed that Inter defender Thomas Palacios will also leave the club on loan in January.
