Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has caught the attention of fans after he was seen playing grassroots football in his hometown on Sunday.
A video that quickly went viral on social media shows the former Enyimba shot-stopper taking part in a local match, sparking conversations about his current situation and next move. Nwabali has been without a club since parting ways with South African side Chippa United by mutual consent.
Adding to the intrigue, the goalkeeper was also left out of the Super Eagles squad for the March international friendlies, with head coach Eric Chelle opting for other options.
