The Olympic torch relay on the eve of the opening of the 2024 Olympics was quite extraordinary.
The relay featured not an athlete, but the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, marking his first experience of this kind.
It seemed that most fans who came to watch the relay on the streets of Saint-Denis did so primarily to see the musician.
A reminder: the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics will take place today, starting at 20:00 Central European Time.
