Italian tennis player and the world's 4th-ranked Jannik Sinner secured his second victory at the ATP Finals 2023, held on indoor hard courts in Turin, Italy.

Novak Djokovic (Serbia) – Jannik Sinner ( Italy) – 5:7, 7:6 (7:5), 6:7 (2:7)
This marked the 5th meeting between the two players, and Sinner secured his first win against the Serbian.
Novak and Yannick are in the same group with Holger Rune and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Earlier, the Greek player withdrew from the match against the Dane, and now Hubert Hurkacz will take his place in the tournament. Djokovic is set to face Hurkacz in the last 3rd round of the group stage, while Sinner will meet Rune.
Currently, Sinner holds the top spot in the group with 2 victories out of 2 possible. In the 1st round, Jannick defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas.
As of now, Sinner has not guaranteed a place in the playoffs of the ATP Finals 2023, although he has the best chances among all participants in the Green Group. If Sinner loses to Holger in the last round, and Djokovic wins against Hubert, then Sinner, Djokovic, and Rune will have the same number of victories, and the decision will be based on the percentage of sets/games won.
It's worth noting that Djokovic had an incredible winning streak of 19 matches before facing Sinner.
