(VIDEO) Rudiger made an epic joke about Endrick during a flash interview
Yesterday, Real Madrid secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory at home against Stuttgart in the opening round of the 2024/25 Champions League. The final goal was scored by 18-year-old Brazilian talent Endrick, who later appeared for a flash interview. And something amusing occurred during it.
Details: Central defender Antonio Rüdiger decided to play a prank on his teammate. The German player approached the camera and shouted “BOBBYYYY!” loudly.
This was a reference to an ongoing internet joke about Endrick, who, in a previous interview, mentioned Bobby Charlton as one of the greatest players he had ever seen. Charlton, of course, played in the 1960s, while Endrick was born in 2006.
Reminder: Endrick became the youngest player in Real Madrid's history to score in the Champions League, breaking the record previously held by the legendary Raúl.
The goal against Stuttgart was already Endrick’s second for the Spanish giants.
