On the night of March 7th to March 8th, the second day of the prestigious Masters series tournament in Indian Wells took place in the men's bracket.

One of the main events of the day was the first-round exit of the renowned Swiss athlete Stanislas Wawrinka. The 38-year-old Swiss conceded in three sets to 23-year-old Czech Tomas Machac, who is ranked 63rd in the ATP rankings.

It's also worth noting the confident victory of 37-year-old Gael Monfils over Australian Max Purcell. The Frenchman surrendered only three games to his opponent in two sets.

Lucky loser Sumit Nagal from India, who replaced Rafael Nadal in the tournament, lost in straight sets to experienced Canadian Milos Raonic.
